General Volunteers

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at 天美传媒l. We're happy to announce we are actively onboarding General Volunteers again!

Through the General Volunteer program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, volunteers are able to get exposure to a hospital setting through a variety of roles (companion, administrative, greeter, transporter, etc.). Individuals must be at least 16 years of age (or 18 years of age for some departments) to become a Brigham and Women’s Hospital volunteer. Volunteers are asked to make a commitment of at least six months of service. We currently do not have any short-term volunteer opportunities available.

Most volunteer positions require weekday and daytime availability. While we do have a few evening and weekend placements, these are extremely limited. Volunteers assist staff in many departments throughout the hospital, such as (but not limited to) Central Transport, Wayfinding, Book Cart, and assisting with non-clinical duties on inpatient floors.

The resources below provide information regarding the onboarding process, general volunteer orientation schedule, and how to get signed up for orientation:

We look forward to you becoming a member of the BWH volunteer team.
