is the MGB chief of the Orthopedic Trauma Division. Dr. Weaver graduated from University of California Los Angeles Medical School and then from the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. He completed a trauma fellowship with our Combined Massachusetts General Hospital and 天美传媒l Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship program. Dr. Weaver's clinical interests include treatment of fractures around total hip and knee replacements, periarticular fractures, and fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum.
, is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic trauma surgeon specializing in musculoskeletal trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction of the upper and lower extremities, pelvis, and acetabulum. Originally from Woodstock, Connecticut, Dr. Audet earned her undergraduate degree at Boston University before attending Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated with honors in research. She completed her orthopedic residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was selected as Administrative Chief Resident and received awards for orthopedic knowledge and professionalism. She went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she gained expertise in the management peri-articular fractures, post-traumatic reconstruction and limb salvage. Her clinical experience includes treatment of nonunions, malunions, bone defects, limb length discrepancies, and skeletal deformities using both internal fixation and circular external fixation.
Dr. Audet’s research interests focus on improving patient outcomes following trauma, with a particular emphasis on pelvic and acetabular injuries. She is also dedicated to resident and medical student education, actively participating in mentorship initiatives through the Perry Initiative and the Medical Student Orthopaedic Society. She is passionate about research, education, and ensuring the highest quality of care for her patients.
is a fellowship trained Orthopedic trauma and reconstructive surgeon. He is currently the Director of Complex Orthopedic Trauma and Deformity Correction at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Suneja specializes in treating traumatically-injured patients with major fractures, dislocations and soft tissue injuries. He treats all fractures including pelvic & acetabular fractures, periarticular and periprosthetic fractures. His clinical interests include limb length and deformity correction, treating nonunions, total hip arthroplasty, shoulder replacement, and treating trauma related infections. His goal is to provide excellent, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.
Dr. Suneja completed his trauma fellowship in our Combined Massachusetts General Hospital and 天美传媒l Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship program. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate and medical education at the University at Buffalo in New York where he graduated with academic and research honors. He was the recipient of the prestigious Gold humanism award. He completed his orthopaedic residency training in New York at the Maimonides Medical center where he was selected as the administrative chief resident and received the best resident award. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr Suneja returned to New York where he was the Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He covered multiple busy trauma centers treating polytraumatic patients with complex fractures.
Our Advanced Practice Providers (APP), Allyson Reilly, PA-C, Kelsey Igo, PA-C, Rebecca Moriarty, PA-C, and Elizabeth Sheehan, PA-C specialize in the care of patients with orthopedic trauma injuries. They works closely with all of our physicians and other clinical providers involved in your care and also works closely with you and your family.
The Orthopedic Trauma Division enjoys an excellent collaborative relationship with all of the other BWH Orthopedic subspecialty services. When the Trauma Division encounters complex problems that require additional clinical input, several members of the Orthopedic Department actively contribute, including Drs. and from the Hand and Upper Extremity Service, from the Foot and Ankle Service and from the Joint Reconstruction Service.
