The Clinical Cytogenetics Laboratory for the Mass General Brigham system is based at 天美传媒l and processes specimens from hospitals including 天美传媒l, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The Laboratory performs conventional chromosome analysis, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and SNP microarrays. Specimens routinely evaluated include chorionic villi, amniotic fluids, peripheral and cord bloods, products of conception, bone marrows, lymph nodes, and solid tumors.
Multiple ABMGG-certified faculty and a team of ASCP-certified technologists contribute both breadth and depth in delivering a high caliber diagnostic service. Research and development are focused on state-of-the-art cytogenetic and cytogenomic technologies.
The Laboratory is aligned closely with the , through which clinical trials and other research focused projects are completed under the supervision of an ABMGG-certified Clinical Cytogeneticist.
